Directions
Use 1 tsp. (0.5 - 1g) for a cup of tea (250ml), steep for 5-10 minutes and strain.
It blends well with other herbs like chamomile, lemon balm, lemon verbena, lavender flowers and tulsi.

This bold botanical melts tension, and dials down occasional anxiety so you can feel confident, calm and totally in your power.*
Motherwort is very effective at tonifying and strengthening the heart and circulatory system. Energetically it helps people to feel lionhearted (note its Latin name Leonurus cardiaca), hopeful and full of life. It helps maintain calmness during occasional stressful times, supporting emotional resilience and balance. Motherwort is potent bitter to aid digestion and tonifies the liver. It is also a strong nervine and can reduce nervous tension, relax muscles and ease menstrual discomfort and cramping. It is a common treatment for hot flushes and emotional upheaval. A "tea-tree" similar to Manuka, traditionally used to make a herbal tea, grows well on KoruKai Herb Farm. We love it for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It supports the body to fight off infections.
We use Kanuka in herbal tea blend as foot soak and make infused oils for topical applications.

Solidago virgaurea
The aerial parts of goldenrod have been identified as having many beneficial properties including as an anticatarrhal, an herb which helps the body remove excess mucus. Goldenrod also contains high levels of the anti-inflammatory constituent quercitin, which, along with its astringent action, can help alleviate the symptoms of allergies.*

This is Ceylon cinnamon. It is sometimes called 'true' cinnamon and is far superior in taste to the commonly used, cheaper cassia variety.
