Directions for Use
This plant material can be
- used as an herbal tea: 1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Steep for 10 minutes and then strain and drink to improve concentration or to ease migraines (drink 4 cups per day)
- turned into a tincture: infuse for 4 weeks in vodka, strain and use for sore throat combined with sage.
- infused into a carrier oil: infuse for 4-6 weeks, strain and use. Great for tight muscles and tired feet as a massage oil.
- used in a bath. An infusion can be added to the bathwater for muscle aches or premenstrual tension: Make an infusion with 25g of herb to 3 cups of water. Steep for 10 minutes and then strain into bath. Soak for 20 minutes.
- used as a great food seasoning after bashing with a pestle and mortar. It adds valuable antioxidants to your meals.
