Kanuka Kunzea ericoides
A "tea-tree" similar to Manuka, traditionally used to make a herbal tea, grows well on KoruKai Herb Farm. We love it for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It supports the body to fight off infections.
We use Kanuka in herbal tea blend as foot soak and make infused oils for topical applications.

100% grown on KoruKai Herb Farm, Banks Peninsula, New Zealand. Organic and delicious.
Kanuka is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory and was used by the Maori for pain and inflammation relief and skin diseases.
It is great as a herbal decoction and can be infused into oil for topical applications to combat fungal and bacterial infections.
Sustainably harvested at KoruKai Herb Farm, Banks Peninsula.
Directions
INTERNALLY: Use 1-2 tsp. (1g) for 300ml of water, put in a small pot with lid.
Bring to a boil and let gently simmer for 20 minutes. Do not open lid during this time or at the end of the boiling process. Essential oils would get lost with the steam. Let the mixture cool down before opening the pot.
Then strain and use.
EXTERNALLY: Put the herb in a clean glass jar and cover with a carrier oil (sunflower, sweet almond, olive oil etc.). Let infuse for 4-6 weeks. You can also gently warm it to 60 C and let infuse for 24-48 hours.
