Vermicast is the best natural fertiliser. Worm poop is the "Elixir of Life" and we witness the magic that it does every day on our farm. Through our gardening workshops we have talked to a lot of gardeners and have discovered that there is a huge need to learn the right techniques to keep worms happy and healthy. There is a lot of misinformation (gosh, I hate this word) out there about worm farming in books as well as the internet that's why we have sat down to write down our way of worm farming so you can maintain a worm farm successfully.
We have searched and read through dozens of research papers and have also read various worm books to find out what they are missing in order to bring together the most valid information that you will need to start and maintain a worm farm - be it at home or farming the land. Fantastic resource
This is a very well researched and practical guide for worm farming. It is easy to understand and the pictures help to visualize it. I have now built 2 worm farms with very little expense and the worms I got from KoruKai are doing a great job.

Fabulous resource
Thank you so much for all your work and research into the worm farming guide! My wife bought it for me and I devoured it last night in one sitting. The concept of thinking of the worm bedding and worm food as separate was new to me and it makes so much sense and has got me really excited. Also seeing the possibilities on how to easily and cheaply expand and contract worm farm operations—I've been day dreaming today of setting up windrows over beds that get less sun in the winter.

A wonderful guide
After visiting Korukai Herb Farm for an Autumn Grow Your Own Food workshop I was excited to be able to dive further into worm farming by buying Cornelia's Worm Farming Guide. I was not disappointed. There is a wealth of knowledge contained in this guide - thoroughly researched and personally tested. There are many helpful photos included to help with turning your reading into the confidence to 'do'. I now have 3 worm farms on the go and can't wait to apply their generous gifts of vermicast to my garden.
