This is our specially formulated Worm Supplement blend containing lime, humates, seaweed, and biochar—designed to support a balanced, active, and highly productive worm farm ecosystem.

A 500g bag typically lasts a small worm farm approximately 6 months when used at a rate of 2 tablespoons per week.

Each ingredient plays a key role in maintaining optimal worm farm health and performance:

Lime provides essential calcium, helping to balance pH levels and support the worms’ digestive system. Worms have a calciferous gland that requires calcium for healthy digestion and efficient processing of organic matter into rich humus.

Humates are naturally rich in carbon, minerals, and trace elements, containing both humic and fulvic acids. They support the growth and activity of beneficial microorganisms, particularly fungi, and enhance overall soil fertility when the vermicast is later used in the garden.

Seaweed is a nutrient-dense powerhouse containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and over 60 trace minerals. It helps support microbial diversity and contributes to overall worm vitality and compost quality.

Biochar improves worm health, reproduction, and system efficiency. It provides habitat for beneficial microbes, enhances aeration, and helps retain nutrients within the vermicompost, resulting in a more stable and fertile end product.

Together, these ingredients create a balanced environment that supports worm activity, boosts microbial life, and enhances the quality of the final vermicast.

Directions:

Use 1–2 tablespoons per 2 litres of food scraps. Sprinkle evenly over the food layer or mix through the bedding and feed.

Fabulous advise and supplement

I bought this product a few weeks ago and also the eGuide, which is fantastic. My worms are much happier and healthier now and reproduce more as I follow the instructions from the eGuide. Within just 4 weeks of using WormSup my pot worm numbers have gone down dramatically. I also add a lot more bedding now and the amount of worm eggs has increased with it. Really pleased with my purchase. Thanks KoruKai.

Compost Thermometer

$29.90

A compost thermometer is a necessary piece of equipment for hot composting and worm farming in a home garden setting and for commercial operators.

It gives you an indication of the microbial activity, telling you when it needs to get turned and indicates if your carbon and nitrogen ratio of your compost materials were adequate.
By measuring the temperature you will see if you have added too much green material (gone too hot) or not enough (too cold) and if your moisture level was adequate (not enough moisture, no microbial activity).
Without a thermometer you are merely guessing and you cannot improve this valuable skill as a home or commercial gardener.
