Our Elderberry Syrup is made with elderberries lovingly harvested on Banks Peninsula, New Zealand. Carefully crafted in small batches, this traditional winter tonic is designed to support immune health and help the body during seasonal challenges.
Long valued in herbal medicine, elderberries are naturally rich in vitamin C and antioxidants and have been traditionally used to support the immune system and ease symptoms associated with viral conditions. This warming formula is further enhanced with cinnamon, ginger, and cloves - classic immune-supportive spices known for their comforting and restorative properties.
Ginger provides gentle warmth and is traditionally used to soothe coughs, colds, and flu-like symptoms. Cinnamon is well known for its supportive role in digestion and may help ease nausea and digestive upset. Cloves add additional warming, antimicrobial support, while also contributing to the syrup’s rich, spiced flavour profile.
Handcrafted with Care
Each batch is made with attention and respect for the ingredients. Elderberries are hand-harvested at peak ripeness, selecting only the darkest, most mature berries. They are then freshly juiced the same day using a steam juicer and fruit press to preserve their natural goodness.
The deep, rich juice is gently simmered with ginger and cinnamon to extract their beneficial compounds. Raw honey is added just before bottling to preserve its natural properties and create a smooth, delicious syrup that is both nourishing and enjoyable to take.
