Built to last, this fully stainless steel dough scraper is an indispensable tool for serious home bakers. Unlike scrapers with plastic handles that can crack, loosen, or break over time, this durable one-piece design is engineered for strength, stability, and years of dependable use in even the busiest kitchens.

Comfortable to hold and beautifully balanced in the hand, it has quickly become a staple in everyday sourdough baking. The solid stainless steel construction gives it a reassuring weight and rigidity, allowing you to work with confidence when handling everything from soft enriched doughs to high-hydration, sticky sourdoughs that would otherwise cling stubbornly to your hands and bench.

It effortlessly lifts, turns, portions, and shapes dough with clean precision, helping maintain structure without overworking it. We also rely on it for dividing pizza dough, cutting pastry, and achieving consistent portions for rolls or buns. Beyond dough handling, it doubles as an efficient bench scraper, making quick work of cleaning flour, dough residue, and sticky scraps from your work surface to keep your workspace tidy and organised.

The integrated measuring guide etched along the blade adds another layer of functionality, allowing for accurate, repeatable portions when working with pasta, pastry, or bulk doughs. This makes it especially useful when consistency matters—whether you're dividing dough for proofing baskets, shaping uniform rolls, or portioning ingredients for baking projects.

Simple, durable, and endlessly practical, this dough scraper is a reliable everyday essential that earns its place in any baker’s toolkit.

Great buy

I've always cut my bread dough with a knife and thought this might have been a frivolous buy, but now I wouldn't use anything else. Such a great purchase, and also useful for lifting dough and scraping excess off the bench.

Great quality!

This scraper is excellent. It cuts through the dough with ease when making portions. The blade is rigid and shaping is a breeze. I am a commercial baker and use it a lot!

Diastatic Malt Powder

$6.90

This diastatic malt powder is made from certified organic barley grown by a family farm in Central Otago, NZ.

Diastatic malt powder is the "secret ingredient" bread bakers use to promote a strong rise, great texture, and lovely brown crust. When used in baking it increases the enzymatic activity of dough, which means starch converts to sugar more quickly. As a result, the sugars caramelize more intensely, making a darker crust and a sweeter dough. As a result of heightened yeast activity, malt can help bakes rise into a higher volume, with a more tender and even texture.

Available in 100g, 500g and 1.5kg bulk bags.

We provide a fast and efficient service.

Please see more info below to choose the correct size for your needs.
