Our Shampoo Bars are thoughtfully handcrafted using certified organic oils, butters, and herbal infusions, then carefully transformed into a solid bar through the traditional saponification process with lye (no lye remains in the final product). A long, slow curing time ensures each bar is extra gentle on the scalp while also being hard, long-lasting, and producing a rich, creamy lather.

Packaged in recycled cardboard, this is a simple, low-waste alternative to plastic bottled shampoos—better for your hair and better for the planet.

The Hydrating Shampoo Bar with rosemary infusion and aloe vera juice is specially formulated for normal to oily hair types. Rosemary is traditionally used to stimulate scalp circulation, supporting overall scalp health and helping to reduce dandruff and build-up while encouraging healthy-looking hair growth. Aloe vera is naturally rich in enzymes that help gently cleanse and support the renewal of scalp skin cells, while also adding softness, hydration, and shine to the hair.

Together with nourishing plant oils and butters, this bar cleanses effectively while helping to leave hair feeling fresh, light, smooth, and tangle-free. For oily hair types, conditioner is often not needed. Those with normal hair may choose to follow with a conditioner if desired.

The scent is a refreshing blend of herbaceous greens and uplifting citrus notes, created with a carefully balanced essential oil mix of lavender, bergamot, lemongrass, rosemary, litsea cubeba, eucalyptus, cedarwood, and patchouli.

How to Use

Method 1 (Gentle Lather Method):
Rub the wet shampoo bar between your hands to create a lather. Apply the lather to wet hair using your fingers like a comb, working it through the lengths and into the scalp. Massage gently to build a rich lather, adding water if needed. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if desired.

Method 2 (Direct Application):
Gently glide the wet bar directly over wet hair from scalp to ends in sections. Use your fingers like a comb to distribute the product evenly, always working from top to bottom to avoid tangles. Massage into the scalp and hair while gradually building a full lather, adding water as needed. Ensure the hair is fully lathered to avoid any soap residue. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if desired.
After use, store the bar on a free-draining soap dish and allow it to dry completely between washes.

How to Store for Best Results

To maximise the life of your shampoo bar, always store it on a well-draining soap dish or rack, away from direct water flow. Leaving the bar sitting in water will soften it and cause it to dissolve more quickly.
If the bar becomes soft, allow it to dry fully before next use—sunlight in summer or a warm dry spot in winter works well. If shared between multiple users, cutting the bar in half can help extend its life by allowing each piece to dry properly between uses.
For best quality, use within 12 months. Over time, natural essential oils may gradually fade and colours may soften.

Transitioning to Shampoo Bars

Switching from conventional liquid shampoos to natural shampoo bars can take a short adjustment period. Many commercial shampoos strip the scalp of natural oils, causing it to overproduce sebum in response. When transitioning, your scalp may temporarily feel oilier as it rebalances its natural oil production.
During this adjustment phase, you may need to wash your hair more frequently at first. With consistent use, the scalp typically normalises, leaving hair feeling healthier, softer, and more balanced over time.
With patience, your hair can transition to a simpler, more natural routine—supported by gentle cleansing and nourishing care.
