Bentonite Clay
Bentonite clay is naturally rich in minerals including silica, calcium, magnesium, and trace elements that help support healthy teeth and gums. These minerals help neutralise acids in the mouth, which is important because acidic conditions weaken enamel and encourage harmful bacterial growth.
By helping raise the pH in the mouth, bentonite clay creates a healthier environment for enamel maintenance and oral balance while also gently polishing the teeth.
Hydroxyapatite (10%)
Hydroxyapatite is the primary mineral that naturally makes up tooth enamel and bone. The particles used in this tooth powder closely resemble natural enamel crystals and have been shown to bind to damaged enamel surfaces, helping to fill microscopic irregularities and support remineralisation.
Unlike fluoride, which primarily works on the outer enamel surface, hydroxyapatite can penetrate deeper into porous areas of the tooth structure without toxicity concerns. Research suggests hydroxyapatite may help:
- Remineralise enamel
- Reduce tooth sensitivity
- Support cavity prevention
- Reduce erosion
- Restore smoother enamel surfaces
This formula contains 10% hydroxyapatite, which aligns with levels commonly recommended in scientific studies.
We use a premium-quality non-nano hydroxyapatite derived from ancient coral deposits. It is all-natural, biocompatible, non-toxic, and vegan friendly. If accidentally swallowed, it simply breaks down into calcium and phosphate ions.
Calcium Carbonate
Calcium carbonate provides additional calcium minerals to support enamel health while also acting as a gentle polishing agent to help naturally whiten teeth and remove surface stains.
Baking Soda
Baking soda is naturally alkaline and helps neutralise acids in the mouth. It also assists in gently lifting stains and polishing teeth, contributing to a cleaner and brighter smile.
Xylitol Powder
Xylitol is a naturally derived plant-based sweetener with well-documented oral health benefits. Unlike sugar, xylitol works against harmful oral bacteria and may help reduce the risk of cavities.
It also naturally stimulates saliva production, which helps buffer acids and supports the mouth’s natural remineralisation processes.
Ceylon Cinnamon
We use true Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) for its pleasant flavour and natural antibacterial properties. Cinnamon helps discourage unwanted bacterial growth while adding warmth and balance to the flavour profile.
Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint provides a clean, refreshing taste while helping soothe and refresh the gums and mouth.
Sweet Orange Essential Oil
Sweet orange essential oil adds a subtle citrus freshness and is traditionally used in natural oral care formulations to support gentle whitening and freshness.
