The farm tour runs for approximately 2.5 hours, depending on group size and level of engagement. Smaller groups (under 10 people) tend to move more quickly and allow for more interactive discussion, while larger groups naturally take longer as we explore each area in more depth and accommodate questions and group flow.

Set on the stunning hills of Pigeon Bay, KoruKai Herb Farm is a living example of regenerative, biological, and spray-free farming in action. On this guided tour, you’ll step into a working farm system where soil health, nutrient density, and ecological balance are at the heart of everything we do.
We farm with a focus on building life in the soil rather than depleting it. Through regenerative practices, we actively grow soil biology and sequester carbon using the soil food web. Our own on-farm inputs—compost, compost extracts, vermicast, and fish hydrolysate—are used to inoculate soil, seeds, and plants, strengthening microbial life and supporting nutrient cycling from the ground up.
Permaculture principles guide much of our design and decision-making, with a strong focus on closing loops wherever possible. This includes systems such as water harvesting swales on contour, and a composting toilet that returns nutrients safely back into the system.
You will also see a diverse and integrated farm ecosystem including Wiltshire sheep, ducks, chickens, and weaner pigs, as well as our Jersey house cow. Her milk is transformed on-farm into butter, yoghurt, and traditional cheeses, demonstrating small-scale, self-sufficient food production in practice.
This is an immersive, real-world tour of a working regenerative farm—offering both practical insights and a deeper understanding of how healthy soil, healthy food, and healthy ecosystems are connected.
We also run a range of hands-on workshops throughout the year for those wanting to go further into specific skills. Please see here.
Ingredients: Inspiration and positive vibes :-)
I thoroughly enjoyed the wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm you shared with us.
Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality at your beautiful oasis today. You were so generous with the information you shared about raising herbs and vegetable gardening, and livestock in tandem with the seasons. I now know more about the best fungal environment for my strawberries, to let plants go to seed (and not pull them out at the first sign of bolting) and to dry herbs naturally out of the sun.
I was absolutely blown away by your beautiful and productive gardens. You are so knowledgeable when it comes to organic growing and you have such an in depth knowledge of healthy soil, the basis for all that you do. I have been following you for some time and now that I have visited I know for sure that you walk the talk.
