This amazing class brings together what we have learnt, observed and experienced over the last 10 years of managing a worm farm to get amazing worm castings for your garden.
You will also learn how to turn you wormcastings into a compost extract so you can use it to coat seeds before sowing, water seedlings and plants with your very own liquid fertiliser.
We have experience with small scale urban worm farms on a 500m2 section in the city as well as larger scale on a rural farm, so we can guide you along based on our experience. All our worm farm set ups are cost-effective and inspire the Kiwi DIY spirit.
Vermicast brings back vitality, regenerates the soil, inoculated your gardens and farms with microbiology so your plants can thrive. With high quality vermicast we grow plants that are nutrient dense and resistant to pest and diseases.
ABOVE: A layer of compost is added to the no-dig garden before planting. Note the amount of worms present.
