We have experience with small scale urban worm farms on a 500m2 section in the city as well as larger scale on a rural farm, so we can guide you along based on our experience. All our worm farm set ups are cost-effective and inspire the Kiwi DIY spirit.

Vermicast brings back vitality, regenerates the soil, inoculated your gardens and farms with microbiology so your plants can thrive. With high quality vermicast we grow plants that are nutrient dense and resistant to pest and diseases.

ABOVE: A layer of compost is added to the no-dig garden before planting. Note the amount of worms present.

Healthy soil is the backbone of health - be it environmental, animal, plant or human health. It's our foundation and the solution to a lot of our problems.

Our online course is self-paced and you can access the contents 24/7 for up to one year. So you can go through the content quickly or take your time.

In our online course, you will learn about:

  • Benefits of vermicast
  • Various set ups from urban small scale to medium and large scale systems
  • Carbon to nitrogen ratio of bedding and feeding materials
  • Bedding materials
  • Feeding worms

  • Signs of a finished compost

This workshop is for beginners as well as advanced gardeners, lifestyle block owners and farmers interested in organics and thinking about converting from conventional farming to biological/regenerative agriculture.
