The base of this healthy brew is organic and raw apple cider vinegar, which has numerous health benefits. Apple cider vinegar helps the body maintain a healthy alkaline pH level. Research shows that a balanced acidity level in the body lead to a boost of energy and lower incidences of infection. It helps your body to remove toxins, reduces heartburn, helps to break up mucus throughout the body and cleanse the lymph nodes. We use certified organic, raw and unfiltered ACV - full of nature's goodness! 

We have infused dandelion root, fennel seeds and elecampane root over 8 weeks in the vinegar.
The herbs are grown organically on KoruKai Herb Farm on Banks Peninsula.

Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale): Dandelion is used for the treatment of upset stomach, intestinal gas and gallstones. It also increases urine production and serves as a laxative to increase bowel movements. Dandelion root helps to purify the bladder and kidneys and helps to detoxify the liver. It stimulates bile production and bile transport toxins out of the body.

Fennel seeds (Foeniculum vulgare): In India, dried fennel seeds are incredibly popular as an aid to digestion and have been used for this purpose for thousands of years. Modern scientific studies on the properties of fennel seeds are showing that their rich volatile oil content is primarily responsible for these digestive benefits and ability to clear intestinal gas so effectively.

Elecampane root (Inula helenium): Elecampane was priced by the Romans as a medicine and a food. The root has long been used as a gentle warming and tonic herb for the digestion. It stimulates the appetite and contains inulin. Inulin was first isolated from the plant in 1804 and took its name from the herb (inula helenium). We use it as a prebiotic and for its soothing qualities on the bronchial linings. 

Directions: Shake well before every use as the inulin settles to the bottom of the bottle. To improve digestive function, take 1-2 tsp. before or after a meal. Dilute with 2-4 Tbsp (1/8 - 1/4 cup) of warm water to reduce acidity of the vinegar.
