We have harnessed its strong flavour by adding apple cider vinegar to the freshly harvested and grated root. Fresh from the field to your plate!
Horseradish often acts as a substitute for Wasabi / Black radish.
Our pungent horseradish makes a great condiment for roasted meat, fish and vegetables.
It is delicious on a pulled pork sandwich!
Make your own horseradish cream
Simply mix 1/4 - 1 tsp (depending how spicy you want it) of grated horseradish into 1 cup of sour cream, cream cheese or yoghurt. Season with salt and pepper, give it a good stir. Done!
This sauce is amazing with salmon and savoury dishes.
Directions
Take contents out with a fork and let the vinegar drain back into the jar. Once opened store in the fridge and keep contents submerged by pushing them down with a fork after you have taken some out. Top up with vinegar if necessary.
