We are very fortunate to be able to offer Kinross Field's honey to our KoruKai customers as Myles' beekeeping practice aligns with ours of nurturing and caring for the bees we have on KoruKai Herb Farm. The wellbeing of the bees is paramount and the integrity of the hive is kept in place year round. With only 100 hives in Myles' management you know that you are purchasing a high quality product without mass production.

This Multi Floral honey is not only delicious in taste, but also renowned for its health-giving and healing properties. This honey is raw and has been creamed so it does not crystallize over time. This honey is from the summer season 2021.

Here a bit more info from Myles about Kinross Field's Honey:

"It all started with one hive as a birthday present from my partner Charlotte who, after listening for years about my wish to do some bee keeping, thought well now is his chance!

Luckily for me my first hive came from someone who was a very experienced and well known Canterbury bee keeper and with this positive start my interest flourished.

To learn, I went to work with another experienced bee keeper and by working for him and under his instruction gained the confidence to go on my own.

Five years later we have about 100 hives and have for the last two years packed our honey into a jar with our own label. It is a great pleasure to hear that people enjoy our honey as much as they do.

One of the things I love about bee keeping is visiting the different areas and being in tune with the changes of seasons and the local flora of these areas. Places such as Port Levy, Purau Bay, and Charteris Bay to name a few make for a truly beautiful work place. The bees like it too which is reflected in the quality of the honey produced.

Our goal is to provide a quality local product that is affordable so that people can enjoy the wonder of the fabulous honeys that our country offers. "
