Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora): Skullcap is a premier nervine. It has a wonderful way of calming and centering the nervous system. Skullcap acts as a mild yet effective sedative and helps relieve nervous tension and anxiety. It has antispasmodic effects and is wonderful to use for premenstrual tension and cramping.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis): Calendula helps to reduce the spasm in the uterus and relieves excess fluid retention.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis): Lemon balm has a sedative action on the central nervous systems and is widely used to treat anxiety and insomnia in Europe. It reduces anxiety and stress and eases sleep disorders.

Raspberry Leaf (Achillea millefolium):  Raspberry leaf tea has been used for centuries by midwives to help women at various points during their fertility cycle. Also called the Woman’s Herb, Red Raspberry leaf tea cleanses the blood of excess hormones and corrects estrogen-progesterone hormonal imbalances. Rich in tannins and fragarine, this tea combats nausea, cramps and diarrhea. In cases of heavy bleeding, the tea helps tighten the pelvic region muscles to reduce cramps caused by intermittent spasms.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium): Yarrow has been used traditionally for painful menstrual cramps. It is antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory in action. This means it aids the muscles of the uterus to work efficiently without spasm and/or cramping up. Uterine cramping and inflammation are the cause of the pain associated with menstrual cramps. Yarrow relieves inflammation and congestion of the uterus, which aids in pain reduction, as well as proper circulation to the reproductive organs.

Lady's Mantle (Achillea millefolium): Lady's mantle is an astringent and helps to reduce heavy blood flow.

A beautiful tea

I purchased this tea to try recently, as I'm already a regular drinker of KoruKai teas. I found it delicious and relaxing. For the month that I have been using it, I've also found that my moods have been stable over the times that I would normally be prone to melt downs :) Will definitely be continuing to use this tea

The last two months have been really fantastic with the Moon Fl

Usually, I start feeling down and anxious a week before the period and then often I can’t do anything at all when the cramps / spasms start, but the last two months have been really fantastic with the Moon Flow Tea. I hardly felt any different to other days, just a slight dragging pain, and a very slight overall body ache, but it didn’t affect me in my everyday adventures, so I could go to town, work as usual, go swimming, etc, which usually would have been unthinkable or torture! Last month, the period came a week earlier - usually I totally know when it’s gonna be there because the pain starts creeping up, but in this case I couldn’t feel it coming at all because I wasn’t feeling sensitive, moody, and didn’t have the pain. So just a fantastic experience for me! The tea helps loads with spasms, cramps, and anxiety! The usual depressive phase has simply not occurred so that was a massive relief. The taste is pretty neutral I’d say. I hope it will continue to work - that would me a major difference to quality of life in two weeks out of four of the month!
